Why Exercise???

Why exercise? Exercise because it is a good mediator and a healthy aspect of your life. Many people believe that the only thing exercise does for you is get your body into shape and to lose weight, but they’re wrong.  Working out improves ones mood and boosts the energy.

Working out is what I do when my mood is off and need to get my mind off things. Some including me, use exercise as a type of therapy to get away from any other outside negative factors.  The physical exercise that you are doing release multiple brain chemicals that make you feeling happier and much more relaxed.  Even doing something as going for walk can make it so your body is relaxed and you feel like a completely different person.

There are so many things other making yourself look better to working out.  Looking better means feeling better.  You’re overall healthy level increases and you start to get into a routine that just seems natural to you and will continue into the future.  Some may start to think that working out is fun, which you can make working out fun depending on what you decide to do for your specific work out.

Everyone should look deeper into getting out there and working out and even having some friend to exercise with. Having “workout buddies” is always another good motivator to getting to the gym and making something out of it.

Goals are Key

You always here these people saying how they’re going to do this, this and this. Then you see them and nothing has changed. Many people have these visions in their heads about how they either want to get better at a certain something, or improve a skill that they have. But whenever I have a vision in my head for something I write it down, and call it my goals.

My mom always told me to write down my goals, and to have a plan with them because then you are more likely to achieve them. Goals are good to have when trying to better yourself and improve your life. For this specific blog page the goals that I will be talking about is healthy and exercising goals, but there are all sorts of different kinds. In one of the class I am taking this semester we have to pick something that we would like to better about ourselves or to stay constant in.

So my goal is to eat more colorful foods, like fruits and vegetables. The more colors that you have on your plate, the healthier it is. I tend to eat either the same kinds of foods all the time or not eat constant healthy foods. I have some days where I can be right on track then sometimes have one too many cheat days. This will be my goal for 6 weeks and at the end I have to see where I am will build off the goal and go further in something else.  Don’t let someone tell you that you can’t do something and prove them wrong. There have been too many times in my life that someone has told me that I can’t do something and have proved them wrong, it’s a great feeling!

Fuel Your Body

Did you know that a “healthy lifestyle” is both physical and mental health?  Together they are go hand in hand when trying to better yourself.  Like for example, poor mental health can result in poor physical conditions.  It is important to make sure that you pay attention to what you’re put into your body, as well as your surroundings to a positive lifestyle.

Physical health is all within your body, dealing with your nutrition, weight and body mass.  While mental health is your emotional and psychological well-being.  If someone was to have poor mental health it then leads to multiple different physical life changing conditions.  Such as depression, some aspects of it cause the human body to react differently than others and cause things like heart disease.

Making sure that you have a happy and healthy life some things that you could do to make that happen are exercise, dieting and getting away from all the toxins that could possibly affect your body in a negative way.  Your body is like an engine, it is constantly working and for this to happen nutrition and positive attitudes will result in better outcomes. The foods you put into your body affect your whole well being, think of food being a fuel for your body and never letting it get low.
